Mr. Frank Gammache founded Gam Manufacturing Company in 1915. He started producing the 4 in 1 Screwdriver set (401) during the Depression for F.W. Woolworth.

In the late 1940’s his two sons, Vincent & Jacques, joined the Company. It was in the late 1950’s that the two brothers got the idea to produce the original 6 in 1 Combination Hammer/Screwdriver set (601) which is available in three different types of heads, the claw, tack, and the ball peen. The claw style is the most popular. In the late 1990’s the 3 in l Screwdriver set (301) with pocket clip was introduced.

In 1996 Mr. Barry Hart joined the Company, and in 1997 purchased Gam. Not only does Gam manufacture the Combination tools, but we are also a precision Job Shop/Screw Machine House.
